John Green Memorial Trophy
This trophy was instigated in memory of John Green. John was a coach at our very first camp in 2013. Unfortunately a few months after he participated in that camp, John succumbed to Melanoma. During that week John gained the respect of all of the goalkeepers and his fellow coaches.
John had a love of life and sport, playing as a goalkeeper for many years despite losing two fingers on his left hand.
The trophy is inscribed:
Presented to the Keeper demonstrating
outstanding enthusiasm and commitment to
life, sport, and the Art of Goalkeeping

It is awarded at a January Camp to a keeper who shows commitment, support of others, self discipline, and great attitude. Over the years this Trophy has become a coveted award, with all the recipients having the respect of the coaches and other goalkeepers
